After many years, German Week is back in Melbourne, running from 20 – 27 October 2024. This event promises to become a key highlight in Melbourne’s cultural calendar, much like its counterparts in Brisbane and Adelaide. Our school will participate in the German Week Melbourne by hosting a German Kaffeeklatsch.
Kaffeeklatsch, Kultur & Foosball at Deutsche Schule Melbourne
On Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 2 PM to 5 PM, Deutsche Schule Melbourne (DSM) will be hosting a number of events as part of the German Week in Melbourne:

2PM German Voices and Images on Culture – Talk and Exhibition – hosted by the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst)

2PM Merck Life Science SPARK activity for kids – hosted by Merck Life Science
The German Kaffeeklatsch event will take place on our school’s sportsground and offers a wonderful opportunity to gather and connect over coffee and cake. We are lucky to have a professional baker within our DSM Community who will be baking delicious cakes for us with support from other DSM parents. Cake and coffee will be sold and served by our dedicated staff, parents, and students. Enjoy live music by the Hofbräuhaus band while you savour your coffee and cake. Please note that this is a cashless event.
Tickets will cover entry to the school and all the above-mentioned events. Tickets are free but required for planning purposes. Visitors who would like to participate in the foosball tournament need to register via the link above. Thank you.
