The instrumental program is open to students from Year 1 onwards. Foundation Year students can join after their first semester at DSM.
Lessons are for 30 minutes and take place during school hours, with a rotating weekly schedule so no child regularly misses the same lesson. The instrumental instructors currently offer lessons every day of the week.
Throughout the year, students enjoy multiple opportunities to show off their skills at school assemblies and our annual Music Soirée, where they have the chance to perform in front of an appreciative audience. Many of our students also perform at our Christmas Market to share their joy of music with a large crowd.
