Following the eSafety Commissioner’s advice for schools in July 2026, we have changed the way we share student and staff images on the DSM website in order to ensure the safety, wellbeing and privacy of our students, families and staff. These changes align with the eSafety Commissioner’s recommendations and take into consideration factors such as purpose, consent, identification, audience, alternative approaches and privacy settings. We also encourage parents, carers and students to adopt these same thoughtful practices when sharing photographs or videos taken during school events and activities.
