OSHC Coordinator

We have a great opportunity for an experienced English-speaking OSHC Coordinator to join our growing team at Deutsche Schule Melbourne.

Your new role:

  • OSHC Nominated Supervisor, full-time or part-time
  • Start date: as soon as possible
  • Build respectful, supportive, collaborative and responsive relationships with children and families
  • Plan and deliver educational program based on approved learning frameworks
  • Design, implement and maintain the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP)
  • Strive for excellence in the National Quality Standards (NQS) ratings
  • Ensure service compliance
  • Administer the OSHC portal
  • Manage a growing team of OSHC educators

What you need:

  • Diploma in Children's Services (OSHC) or Bachelor of Education Work permit for Australia
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certificates
  • Ability to oversee all daily service operations
  • Up to date with regulations and compliance
  • Demonstrated experience in program planning and implementation
  • Excellent time management, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Keen to make your mark in a growing bilingual school
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a coordinator in OSHC 
  • Ability to lead and manage educators but also work autonomously
  • Understanding of the child care subsidy system
