Our School Brochure and Video

Our German-English bilingual education helps students to realise their individual potential and to become confident and successful participants in the global community.

We invite you to find out more about our school, our school's bilingual concept and teaching approach. Please view our school brochure and school video below.

The video was made in 2018 when Deutsche Schule Melbourne celebrated its 10 year anniversary. Our school has grown since then, but the video still provides a good insight into how Deutsche Schule Melbourne was established and what distinguishes us from other schools. A new school video is currently being produced, so we invite you to visit our website again soon.

Long DSM School Video 2022 (25 minutes)

We invite you to watch our long DSM video in which we introduce Deutsche Schule Melbourne in detail. We interviewed students, teachers and parents to provide interested families with an idea of who we are and what our bilingual approach looks like. The video is 25 minutes long, so it might be best to watch it in a quiet moment. Enjoy!

Deutsche Schule Melbourne thanks all students, parents and teachers who were brave enough to speak, sing and dance in front of the camera. Well done!

Short DSM School Video 2022 (5 minutes)

We are very happy and excited to share our new school video with you. The video is 5 minutes long and introduces Deutsche Schule Melbourne. The footage for this video was recorded at the end of 2021. A huge Thank You to all students and staff who participated.

DSM School Video on the occasion of the school's 10 year anniversary

This video was made to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Deutsche Schule Melbourne. In 2004, a group of senior members of the German Consulate General, the Goethe Institute Melbourne and the Victorian State Government took the first steps to establish a German-English primary school in Melbourne. When Deutsche Schule Melbourne opened its doors in 2008, our vision was to offer an enriching learning experience to the expatriate German-Australian community. Since then however, this vision has broadened and evolved into so much more. Today, we exist to deliver a bilingual education to all families who value the priceless benefits it offers.
